The Naked And Famous - Girls Like You - Passive Me Aggressive You (2011)
Don’t you know people write songs about girls like you?

David Vandervelde - Nothin’ No - The Moonstation House Band (2007)
I sometimes dream to music (my favorite kind of dreams). Last night I dreamt about the one that got away… This was the soundtrack.
Not too shabby subconscious. Not too shabby.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Date With The Night - Fever To Tell (2003)
It’s Monday, a little past noon and I’m already thinking about Friday night. It’s gonna be a long, difficult week. And long, difficult weeks equal cathartic, fanatical Friday night festivities.
Here’s to Friday night! In 102 hours, 14 minutes and 22 seconds. Give or take…
Land Of Talk - Quarry Hymns - Cloak And Cipher (2010)
And on days like these
I could take apart my window
So let down
I was so let down
Red Riders - Over Again - Drown In Colour (2009)
Sometimes you’re just working, going about your business and you’re kind of in a zone - just super focused. And then a song comes on and knocks you out of that zone…just absolutely smacks you right upside your head.
Well…that.
Say Hi - The Pimp And The Sparrow - Discosadness (2002)
Hehe. One more from Say Hi cause I mislabeled the last. Meant to post this early beaut :)
Say Hi - The Twenty-Second Century - Ferocious Mopes (2005)
Yup, early Say Hi (To Your Mom) hitting the spot.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Is This Love? (2005)
All about Clap Your Hands Say Yeah this afternoon. One of my favorite bands. EVER!
Love Uninhabitable Mansions, Radical Dads, Alec’s solo stuff and all of the other goodness they have goin’ on… But, seriously, I wish the fellas would just get it together and put out a new record already.
A new CYHSY album is loooong overdue.
My Jerusalem - Sleepwalking - Gone For Good (2010)
Jamming to My Jerusalem. Just recently introduced to them (thanks Nicole). Really digging what I’m hearing. This particular tune (my favorite thus far) pretty much matches my disposition this morning.
My Jerusalem is a musicians collective brought together by singer-songwriter Jeff Klein (each member played with him during his travels as a solo artist). The collective includes members that are affiliated with bands/artists like Twilight Singers, Great Northern, Ed Harcourt, Cursive, Bishop Allen, The Low Lows, Polyphonic Spree and St. Vincent. Quite a rich pedigree.
